Maintenance Technician II

The purpose of the Facilities Technician is that of any general maintenance, repair needed on the facility. This is a broad role that could cover anything from lawn maintenance or test course maintenance and repair. We are looking for individuals that have experience with any or all of the following:


Grounds Maintenance

Herbicide Application

Mowing/Landscaping

Asphalt/Concrete Repair

Equipment Operation

Irrigation and sprinkler maintenance and repair


Snow Removal

Essential Functions*

Record and report activities accurately


Monitor, maintain, or construct buildings, facilities, and equipment


Coordinate with clients and contractors

Follow safety procedures; wear protective equipment


Coordinate with and assist outside contractors


Coordinate and schedule activities with affected areas


Support TRC Inc.'s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts


Qualifications

High school diploma is required


Valid driver's license


Basic awareness of electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, construction, heavy equipment, machine tool operation, and fabrication


Basic knowledge of safe and proper tool and equipment use


Excellent communication skills

Working conditions

May be exposed to temperatures under 0 degrees and above 95 degrees


May be exposed to inclement weather

May be exposed to hazardous chemical, such as gas, oil, and paint


Physical requirements

Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds


Capable of positioning one's self into bending, stretching, climbing, or awkward positions


Ability to enter work times into a computer
