Administrative Assistant
Scarsella Bros., Inc. is a family owned and operated business located in Kent, Washington. Our specialty is heavy highway road construction with projects located in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Contract Administration and Compliance Team! If you are highly organized, detail oriented, passionate about completing tasks and have excellent communication skills oral and written then this may be the opportunity you've been seeking! This is a rare opportunity for the right individual.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support Contract Administration with subcontractor paperwork
- Track trucking tickets and hours reconcile trucking invoices
- Force account tracking and reconciliation
- Verify compliance documentation and follow-up
- Physical and digital filing
- Verify insurance and prevailing wages
- Scanning & copying documents
- Assist Contracts & Compliance as needed
- File Archiving
Skills:
- 5 years office experience in a similar administrative role
- Public works experience highly desired
- Familiar with certified payrolls and various public works reporting systems
- Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Tenkey by touch
- Proven ability to perform tasks accurately and on time
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Trustworthy in the handling of confidential and/or sensitive information
- Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner
- Superior organization skills
- Detail oriented and follow through
- Must be a team player
- Reliable
- Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Can do attitude
