Registered Nurse (RN)
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit, focusing on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This position involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a stepdown setting.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
- Ensure compliance with all nursing and healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule
This position operates on a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required and the potential to float to other areas as needed.
