Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in a Stepdown unit. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care during night shifts.
Position Details:
- Job Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families on health management and care protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing, with experience in a Stepdown or similar unit preferred.
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Additional Notes:
This position requires the ability to float to different units as needed. The Registered Nurse will be expected to fulfill all responsibilities associated with patient care during night shifts.
