Description - Your Role

• Conduct an array of standard and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established guidelines.
• Interpret test results with a keen eye for detail, troubleshooting any inaccuracies, while performing regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection and preparation of specimens for testing, ensuring that all samples are handled with the utmost care.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide training for new staff or students, and help maintain high standards of lab quality and safety.
• Ensure a clean, secure working environment, adhering closely to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Keep certification current throughout your employment.
