Event Staff | Temporary Position | On-Site King Of Prussia, PA
Monarch Staffing is seeking reliable and customer-focused Temporary Event Staff to support Electric Expo 2026, a large trade show taking place at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia.
This is a multi-day temporary assignment, and candidates must be available to work most of the event week. Staff will assist with a variety of event operations, including registration, attendee and exhibitor support, guest direction, event setup, and general event assistance.
A day in the life of an Event Staff Member
Depending on the needs of the event, responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming and assisting exhibitors and attendees.
- Supporting event registration and check-in.
- Assisting guests with self-service registration kiosks and badge retrieval.
- Entering registration information into a computer system.
- Providing directions and answering basic questions about the event.
- Helping maintain an organized and welcoming registration area.
- Restocking event materials such as tote bags, lanyards, and show guides.
- Assisting with guest arrivals and directing attendees safely to the event area.
- Stuffing and organizing registration bags and promotional materials.
- Moving and organizing event materials as needed.
- Providing general support to event staff throughout the trade show.
- Following instructions and completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Requirements for the Event Staff position
- Availability to work most of the event week, October 1922.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with the public.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using a computer and learning new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working independently in a busy event environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to periodically lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable with bending, reaching, gripping, and grasping as needed.
- Some assignments may require working in outdoor or semi-outdoor conditions.
- Personal cell phone use is not permitted while working.
