By mid-morning, you’ve brought raw stock to life—tight-tolerance parts verified against GD&T callouts—before collaborating with Quality to validate your measurements. This is a typical day for our Toolroom Manual Machinist in Gilbert, where craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement come together in a state-of-the-art facility. Where you’ll work Location: 1433 N. Tech Blvd, Gilbert, AZ 85233 Schedule, pay, and benefits Stable first shift with excellent work-life balance (first shift hours referenced as 5:00 am – 1:30 pm) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (5:00 am – 3:30 pm) Compensation: $30–$38/hour, depending on experience PTO, 401(k), Health, Vision, and Dental benefits Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) What you’ll do Translate detailed blueprints and technical drawings into precision components. Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders with mastery. Hold close tolerances using proven manual machining techniques. Inspect finished work meticulously to ensure quality excellence. Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Tooling teams to solve problems and refine processes. Champion safety and maintain an organized, high-efficiency workspace. What you bring 7+ years of hands-on manual machining experience, including toolmaking, fixturing, and production work. Expert blueprint reading and interpretation. Deep knowledge of manual machining methods, GD&T, and machine tolerances. Self-directed mindset with strong collaboration skills. Unwavering commitment to precision and part quality.
