Loan Servicing Representative
Location: Des Moines, Iowa (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $20 $22/hour Employment Type: Contract
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Closing Disclosure Review Analyst to support mortgage loan servicing operations. This role is responsible for reviewing and validating closing disclosures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
This position operates in a fast-paced, production-driven environment where attention to detail and efficiency are critical. It's a great opportunity for entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or professionals with operations or loan servicing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate closing disclosures for retail mortgage loans
- Perform detailed non-numeric data review to ensure accuracy and proper presentation
- Reconcile recording fees and identify discrepancies
- Verify that all required disclosures are complete and supported by documentation
- Review supporting materials including credit reports, closing documents, and fee-related records
- Research and resolve inconsistencies or missing information
- Accurately document findings within internal systems
- Support additional operational and disclosure-related tasks as needed
- Meet quality and productivity standards in a time-tracked environment
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of loan servicing experience or equivalent experience (work, education, training, or military)
- Strong analytical and research skills
- High attention to detail, especially with non-numeric data
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and computer applications
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately
- Team-oriented with a dependable work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mortgage lending, loan servicing, or loan operations
- Exposure to compliance, quality control, or disclosure review
- Experience working in an office or operations-based environment
