Senior Financial Analyst

BJ's Wholesale Club is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team. A position within this team is exciting and fast paced because of the holistic exposure across the organization. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating cross functionally to develop the annual budget, including detailed forecasts of expense items and revenue drivers
• Developing and owning portions of the monthly rolling plan, identifying, and reporting key trends to upper management regularly for key decision making and quarterly guidance
• Modeling, analyzing, and reporting on new strategic initiatives to inform the business of challenges and opportunities
• Working with key business partners to review, forecast and analyze various P&L line items
• Supporting the development, monitoring, and reporting of operational metrics and KPIs
• Ad-hoc reporting and analyses as requested by senior leadership

• Advanced Excel modeling expertise, including building scalable financial models using complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation techniques
• Working knowledge of VBA, Python, and/or SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets efficiently/quickly
• Proven ability to integrate and reconcile multiple data sources (ERP systems, databases, flat files) into cohesive, analysis-ready models
• Strong capability to translate complex data into clear financial narratives, highlighting trends, risks, and actionable insights
• Exposure to Tableau and Alteryx a plus

Education/experience:

• An understanding of key accounting principles
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA a plus
• Demonstrable and progressive financial analysis experience (3-5 years)

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $105,000.00

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
