Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and STEMI and Stroke facility experience.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting
• Cares for all age groups across a diverse patient population
• Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Hospital specialties include a cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shifts as needed)
• Up to every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — study materials are not provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
