Automation Technician

Automation Technician - Logan, UT - up to $47 h/r
What You'll Do:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated production equipment, including robotics, conveyors, and vision systems.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults on automated lines.
- Support new equipment installs, integration, and validation.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and controls documentation.
- Partner with engineering to drive continuous improvement and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and validation records
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of automation/controls experience in a manufacturing environment; senior-level candidates encouraged to apply.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting skills (Allen-Bradley preferred; Siemens a plus).
- Experience with robotics, vision systems, and/or motion control.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Food Processing/manufacturing experience preferred
