Description Conduct evaluations on patients from diverse populations - pediatric, adult, and geriatric - utilizing both standardized assessments and naturalistic observations. Craft individualized treatment plans that effectively address both immediate and long-term communication and swallowing objectives. Deliver tailored one-on-one speech therapy focusing on areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage in collaborative practices with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop unified care strategies. Provide educational resources to patients and their families to enhance progress during and outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process. Keep comprehensive and timely records in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards. Commit to professional growth by staying abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for candidates without ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be completed within 30 days of employment. Skills In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities across all age groups, combined with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility in adapting therapeutic strategies to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities.
