Construction Laborer
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $17.00/hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 1st shift / 7 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Bring materials, boards, lumber, etc. from lumber yard (outdoors) to the mill shop (indoors) using manual labor, carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Bring fastening equipment to carpenters such as screws, nuts/bolts, truss hangers, staples, etc.
- Remove scrap material from production floor using manual labor and properly dispose (recycle) material.
- Stack finished product in designated areas
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout 8-hour shift and carry material up to 100 feet unassisted
- Must be able to stand, use of both arms/hands/legs
- Must be able to work indoors and/or outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be 18+ years old and have valid US work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Heavy lifting required
- Math skills: fractions, measurement
