RN - OB/GYN

Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYNAs a Registered Nurse specializing in OB/GYN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to assigned patients during your shift. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Your clinical judgment will be guided by scientific knowledge and expertise in nursing practice.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and evaluate patient care needs in an OB/GYN setting.Plan and implement individualized care plans for patients.Assist in directing and teaching non-RN staff, such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.Demonstrate flexibility in the face of scheduling changes and other adjustments.Shift InformationVaried 12-hour shifts available (3 PM - 3 AM and 3 AM - 3 PM).36-hour guarantee per week.Every third weekend requirement.QualificationsAt least 2 years of OB experience (required).Completion of 1 travel assignment (required).Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB preferred.Current Ohio RN license or compact RN license (required).Active certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) (required).Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS - AHA) (required).Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (required).S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (required).Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification (required).Additional InformationThis position offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a significant impact on patient care.
