Financial Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic individual to support our senior management team in the Office of Budget Planning. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work on most days, with in-person collaboration on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Become a key player in analyzing and forecasting our financial performance, and drive impactful financial strategies for our university.

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile position budget data and review funding worklist items.
Produce comprehensive reports from various financial and budgeting systems.
Support the annual and quarterly budget development and confirmation processes.
Maintain and monitor long-range forecasting tools.
Analyze financial trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
Consult with university leadership to address funding issues.
Lead analysis projects and potentially supervise other analysts.
Collaborate with central support offices to resolve financial issues.
Prepare special reports and presentation materials for executive review.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management.
5-8 years of relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in leadership and team collaboration.
Ability to interact with senior management levels.

Preferences

Experience with SAP systems.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and adhere to compliance policies. This position may transition from temporary to permanent.
