Wellington manages approximately $1.3 trillion in client assets under management.Position This Financial Analyst position sits within the Global Revenue Operations team in Wellington Management Company, LLP’s Finance organization, as part of the revenue accounting function. The team is responsible for core revenue processes, including revenue modeling/estimations, accounting, and collections processes.This role focuses on revenue accounting activities supporting the monthly close for Wellington’s legal entities and contributing to accurate revenue reporting, forecasting and analysis. The individual will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Global Accounting, Incentive Compensation, Tax, and Financial Planning & Analysis.ResponsibilitiesCalculate and account for management fees (base and performance fees), including complex hedge fund and private market structuresPerform monthly accounting close activities, including revenue accruals, cash collection, and reconciliationsMaintain client profiles and fee schedule information within revenue systemsPartner with cross-functional teams to support revenue reporting, forecasting, and analysisPerform detailed flux analysis between financial results and budget/forecast, identifying and explaining key drivers of variances across revenue streamsBuild, maintain, and enhance performance fee models, including validation of key inputs, ongoing updates, and analysis of underlying revenue driversLeverage data tools (e.g., Power Query, Tableau Prep) to support data transformation, validation, and reporting workflowsExplore and apply emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance data extraction, reconciliation, and overall efficiency of revenue processesAnalyze and resolve revenue and data discrepancies across systems (e.g., RevPort, reporting tools, and data tables)Prepare revenue-related deliverables for audit, tax, and regulatory reporting requirementsWrite and review revenue accounting policies and proceduresQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field1-5 years of relevant experienceAnalytical aptitude with strong attention to detailAdvanced experience with Microsoft Excel and WordExperience with performance model building (e.g., revenue forecasting, fee modeling, or scenario analysis)Exposure to data visualization and workflow tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and emerging AI tools is a plusProven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements and system enhancementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesNot sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? The base salary range for this position is:USD 80,000 - 150,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education.
