Accounts Payable Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $23.31 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
- Process invoices, reimbursement requests, and other accounts payable transactions.
- Enter and maintain purchase orders, receipts, and vendor records.
- Prepare check runs and electronic payment batches for approval.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with staff and vendors.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accounts Payable Technician Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma or GED. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field.
- One (1) year of accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience.
- Experience with accounting or purchasing software, such as Microix.
- Experience processing invoices, data entry, and maintaining vendor records. Experience working with vendors, community partners, or the public.
- Knowledge of grant-funded programs and compliance requirements.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
