SEC Reporting Consultant

SEC Reporting Consultant (Contract)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Consultant to provide immediate support for a public company's SEC reporting function during a period of increased workload. This will be a 4-6 week contract role.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage SEC filings, including: Form 10-KForm 10-QForm 8-KFootnote disclosuresCoordinate the end-to-end filing process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.Work closely with internal accounting and finance leadership to gather required information and disclosures.Manage filing timelines and communicate effectively with third-party reviewers located across multiple time zones.Utilize Toppan Merrill SEC reporting software for preparation and submission activities.Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and public company disclosure standards.Review and validate filing content for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.Operate independently with limited oversight and proactively identify and resolve reporting issues.Preferred QualificationsPrior consulting or interim SEC reporting experience.Experience working in fast-paced public company environments.Experience using Toppan Merrill filing software.Ability to quickly onboard and contribute immediately with little hand-holding.
