Technician

Job Description At Main Event, Technicians are responsible for maintaining the fun and safety of our equipment and facilities. They support the continuous operation of the center’s games and entertainment options, ensuring all systems run properly and securely. Responsibilities Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive and scheduled maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment. Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring. Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies, tools, and materials as needed. Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean. Uphold cleanliness and safety standards, including OSHA regulations and use of personal protective equipment. Engage with guests as a FUN ambassador. Participate in on-the-job training and, eventually, become a Technician Trainer if selected. Qualifications Minimum age 18. Guest‑focused mindset with strong teamwork skills. Strong problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities. Ability to learn and utilize multiple business support systems. General knowledge of repairing and maintaining automated bowling equipment and arcade games. Skilled in practical electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics. Basic proficiency with hand tools; able to use and handle tools safely. Able to work on ladders and lift equipment up to 250 lbs. Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices. Comfortable wearing and working in personal protective equipment. Effective communication with management, teammates, and guests. Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
