CNC Machine Maintenance MechanicJohnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a CNC Machine Mechanic for a Global Medical Device Company in Franklin, MA. Job Type: Contract – 4+ Months Location: Onsite – Franklin, MA Pay: $30.00–$33.00 per hour DOE Schedule: Typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; flexible start time with the workday ending no later than 5:30 PMThis is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled individual who wants to build a career in CNC machine maintenance. Extensive CNC experience is not required. The company is willing to train the right candidate with strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a hands-on attitude.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery and manufacturing equipmentIdentify and report issues such as air leaks, oil leaks, and other maintenance concernsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsAssist with maintenance of CNC mills, lathes, EDMs, and other manufacturing equipmentAnalyze equipment issues and help prevent machine downtimeDocument maintenance activities and report problems to senior maintenance techniciansWork with Engineering and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment issuesFollow all safety, FDA, ISO, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) requirementsRequirementsAt least 1 year of relevant manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance experience; CNC maintenance experience is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learnExperience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or troubleshooting is a plusManufacturing experience in an FDA-regulated environment preferredStrong computer skills; SAP experience is a plusGDP (Good Documentation Practices) experience requiredAbility to read schematics and technical drawings is a plusReliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and dependableStrong communication skills and a coachable attitudeHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environmentYou don't need to be an expert CNC mechanic.
