CNC Maintenance Technician

Experienced Machinists And Facility ManagerMetropolitan Cabinets & Countertops have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced Machinists and Facility Manager. This position is located at our Norwood Factory/Showroom and requires some travel to our Natick, Wakefield, and Watertown MA locations.The role of the maintenance mechanic at Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is to ensure a safe, clean and orderly building environment while maintaining a high level of equipment uptime.Responsibilities IncludeRoutine mechanical repairs; ensuring the machinery functions properly according to manufacturer recommendation. Oversite and execution of existing Preventative Maintenance program.Mechanical & Electrical repairsOn site trouble shooting with remote engineersPreferences And RequirementsMechanical repair experience in a production environment.Experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting PLCs (Programmable Logic Computers) preferredUnderstanding of both the metric and standard systemUnderstanding, knowledge, and experience with production machineryMust be able to perform routine maintenanceAbility to read manuals, electrical diagrams, drawingsAbility to service and perform maintenance on machinery to a high standardPC literateExperience with CNC machineryWillingness to learnIndustry Specific Training will be available.Qualifications · Valid MA driver's license· Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks· Good communication skills, the Spanish language is a plus· Highly motivated self-starter· Willingness to learn new processes and equipment· Mechanical/electrical background is a plus· Knowledge of Electrical (AC/DC), pneumatic schematics and components is a plusThis Job Is:A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to applyOpen to applicants who do not have a college diploma
