Lead Patient Transporter
Overview
Under the guidance and direction of the Patient Transport Manager, this position leads, promotes, and coordinates the operations of the Transportation Department in a manner that will optimize efficiency, help achieve the mission and goals of the department and hospital, reduce costs, and result in outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
The Lead Patient Transporter is responsible for monitoring the Patient Transport Team Members in their assigned areas and monitoring the transport command board for transport activity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Licence/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- One (1) year or more experience in Transportation or related healthcare field
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
