Job Title Senior Accountant – Sponsored Projects Finance (SPF) Location Manhattan – 2 days a week Pay Range
$50-55 / HR W2
Responsibilities Cash Management & Reconciliation: prepare and maintain supporting documentation for the posting of Letter of Credit (LOC) cash receipts to appropriate sponsored projects. Reconcile LOC payments with accounts receivable balances. Coordinate LOC activity with SPF team members to ensure timely and accurate posting of cash receipts. Financial Reporting: prepare and submit quarterly Federal Cash Transaction Reports (FCTRs) in compliance with federal agency requirements. Reconcile internal financial systems with data provided by federal sponsors. Identify and propose necessary adjustments to the University's accounting system to ensure data integrity. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
