Overview
Registered Nurse – OR travel assignment in Boston, MA. Start date 09/21/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,278–$2,299 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 12-hour blocks in a hospital surgical services department with 17 operating rooms. Start times vary by shift (7a for day shift; 9a and 11a for evenings). There is on-call coverage (1x per schedule), and every 3rd weekend as needed with every other holiday. May float to other OR areas if needed.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for a broad range of procedures across listed service lines
- Prepare OR rooms, equipment, and supplies; maintain sterile technique and patient safety
- Assist anesthesia and surgeons; ensure proper patient positioning and draping
- Manage instrument counts, specimen handling, and accurate intraoperative documentation
- Monitor patient status throughout surgery and communicate changes; participate in handoffs to PACU
- May float to other OR areas as needed and participate in on-call coverage (1x per schedule)

Requirements
- Active RN license (Massachusetts preferred)
- BLS certification
- 2+ years inpatient OR experience; Level 1 trauma preferred
- Scrub experience across multiple service lines
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts; flexible with weekend/holiday rotation; on-call 1x per schedule
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced surgical services environment
