This role focuses on delivering high-quality service, presenting service-type and menu book pricing options to customers, and contributing to company performance through strong technical skills and customer communication. The Service Plumber plays a key role in achieving company KPIs while ensuring a positive customer experience.Why choose Haven/Atherton Plumbing?Earning potential: $55,000 - $100,000+ per year (based on experience and performance)Medical insurance choice of 2 HDHP's with HRA & HSA or PPO - 1 HDHP option has 100% of premiums covered by employerFull-time stability: Join a growing, established company with steady workCareer growth: Opportunities for advancement, ongoing training, and learningSupportive team culture: Work with a team that respects your expertise and values your contributionsAdditional benefits:Dental & vision insuranceHealth savings accountLife and AD&D insuranceDisability insurancePaid time offWhat you'll do as a service technician:Key responsibilities:Plumbing & drain service:Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, water lines, and drainage systemsPerform drain cleaning, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenanceHandle service calls ranging from minor repairs to complex plumbing issuesEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to codeCustomer interaction & sales:Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, solutions, and pricingPresent menu book/service-type pricing options for all recommended workEducate customers on repair vs. replacement optionsBuild trust and maintain a high level of customer satisfactionService execution:Complete service calls in a timely and professional mannerMaintain a clean and organized job siteProperly document all work performed, materials used, and recommendationsFollow company procedures and service standardsPerformance & KPIs:Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including: average ticket size, conversion rate (sold vs. unsold estimates), revenue per call, call completion efficiencyStrive to improve performance through ongoing training and coachingEquipment & inventory:Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working conditionEnsure proper stock levels on the truck for efficient service deliveryReport any equipment issues or shortagesRequirements:What we're looking for:4-5 years of experience as a lead plumbing technician (required)Service Titan experience (preferred but not required)Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and drain cleaningAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficientlyExperience with or willingness to learn menu pricing/service-type salesA professional, positive, and energetic attitudeA clean driving record and valid driver's licenseAbility to pass a drug testHonesty, dependability, and a commitment to customer servicePreferred skills:Experience with drain equipment (cable machines, jetters, cameras)Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar softwareStrong customer service and communication skillsSales-oriented mindset with ability to present options confidentlyReady to take your career to the next level?
