What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy ER environment, assessing patient needs and prioritizing care delivery
Effectively utilize the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
Assist with emergency procedures and respond promptly to urgent patient needs
Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Participate in team collaboration and patient education to ensure optimal care outcomes

What You Need Required

Active Louisiana RN license
Minimum of 2 years' ER nursing experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills

Preferred

Certification in a clinical specialty area
Experience working in a high-volume emergency care setting
