What You'll Do

Assess and prioritize emergency patient needs using the nursing process
Deliver urgent and emergent nursing care, including assessments, interventions, and documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient treatment plans
Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and post-discharge care
Document patient information accurately and comprehensively
Manage multiple urgent cases in a fast-paced ER setting
Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including OSHA and hospital protocols

What You Need
Required:

Active RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
Proficiency with EMR and hospital software
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills

Preferred:

Certifications in clinical specialties or additional training in emergency care
