Supervisor, Nuclear Security - Perry

Job Summary This job is responsible for the management and administration of the Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty Program. It will involve backup responsibilities for the Fleet Security Manager – Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty position as required. Job Description Key Accountabilities Actively serve as a Reviewing Official for in-processing of personnel. Serve as regulatory interface with the USNRC for the Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty Functions. Supervise the outage personnel processing functions which will include numerous part-time personnel. Serve as oversight for vendor contracts to support the outage processing and fitness for duty functions. Provide support to the Security Manager as necessary for Site Security Operations and Administration. Manage a site collection and testing facility for drug and alcohol testing requirements in accordance with 10CFR Part 26. Serve as the Training instructor for the Reviewing Official and Fitness for Duty Collectors. Oversee and protect sensitive information systems containing criminal history information of company and contractor personnel in accordance with 10CFR 73.57. Manage the day-to-day implementation of the Access Authorization, Fitness for Duty, and Fatigue Programs at the nuclear site assigned, to include Health Services. Establish and maintain a working relationship with local law enforcement and court systems to resolve AA/FFD issues. Serve as the Personnel Access Data System (PADS) Administrator for the nuclear site assigned. Manage a significant records system in accordance with regulatory requirements. Participate in the management of self-assessments, audits, inspections, critical group investigations and response to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) concerns. Actively participate in external industry organizations Administer select portions of the Security Organization Budget where applicable. All other duties as assigned by the Fleet Security Manager- Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty. Education, Experience & Skill Requirements High School Diploma 5 years’ experience in the nuclear industry related to security Current Reviewing Official certification or ability to obtain in 6 months Current Fitness for Duty Collector certification Working knowledge of 10CFR Part 26 and 10CFR 73.56 Supervisor experience is preferred.
