Merchandising Supervisor - Floral - Carrollton, TX

Falcon Farms Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Supervisor for our Carrollton, TX location. This position involves managing 5-9 merchandisers within a specific territory, effectively delivering our products to around 20 up to 30 locations. The Merchandising Supervisor is a hands-on mentor, passionate about selling flowers and providing customer service to Falcon's customers. Supervisor must be able to adapt, and be flexible to changing business priorities, capable of shifting business resources as needed so business priorities are met. The Merchandising Supervisor will spend around 80% of his/her time in the field, monitoring merchandiser performance and actively engaging with Falcon Farms' customers' teams.

Responsibilities and expectations include supervising and monitoring an assigned geographic region at various Falcon Farms Customers' points of sale. The role involves evaluating merchandiser performance, assigning resources as required, covering merchandisers absences, auditing store displays, and maintaining a strong relationship with floral buyers. The Merchandising Supervisor will prioritize daily routine based on business needs and short-term requirements, provide business-related data to merchandisers, analyze region and store-specific data to propose courses of action that improve business profitability, and ensure the proper upkeep and personal presentation of the merchandising team.

Required skills include the ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs., stand on an ongoing basis, consistently work assigned schedule, drive to stores, check product, and audit work done by merchandisers. The role also requires the ability to read and follow merchandising schematics, good communication skills, self-discipline, goal and detail orientation, strong people skills, flexible schedule, strong self-management skills, and the ability to lead holiday merchandise teams during peak holiday seasons with set-up and tear down process.

Qualifications include a valid driver license and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Potential career path includes District Manager.
