Responsibilities Perform surgical charges and clerical support for the OR. Monitor and update surgical inventory costs and billing. Enter patient charges for OR, SDS, and PACU. Update MD preference cards. Order supplies. Schedule OR cases. Work under the general supervision of the Clinical Director of Perioperative Services or designee. Compensation Compensation for the role is $22.20–$22.87 hourly. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School diploma or high school equivalency diploma; some college or secretarial experience preferred. Minimum Experience: Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment used in OR procedures preferred. Medical billing, standard ordering/receiving transactions, distribution systems relating to movement of material and people preferred. Computer skills and ability to utilize photocopier/fax machine.
