Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication and developmental needs throughout the school year in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, contract position focuses on delivering speech-language services to pediatric populations across various settings—including onsite and teletherapy. You’ll play a key role in both general school-based caseloads and maternity leave coverages, ensuring continuity of care and positive student outcomes.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP or CFY in good standing
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Proficiency in providing therapy via both in-person and teletherapy models
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and progress reporting
- Must be eligible for state licensure
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluate student progress, and maintain accurate records
- Support students during maternity leave coverage periods, adapting seamlessly to existing caseloads
- Utilize both direct and virtual platforms to ensure accessible, flexible support
- Stay current with best practices and educational regulations related to speech-language therapy
