Details PCU setting focused on cardiac patients including acute coronary syndrome, pre/post cardiac catheterization, arrhythmias, and syncope Secondary population includes new onset and chronic heart failure, plus overflow for other progressive care level patients Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend requirement of 5 shifts every 6 weeks Subject to floating between all Cone Health campuses as needed Patient ratio of 1:5 Uses EPIC EMR Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Cardiac telemetry and PCU experience required Experience with TR bands, central lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring required EPIC EMR experience required Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed) Current driver's license required to verify address Additional Information Provide cardiac-focused nursing care including management of dysrhythmias, cardiac drips, and use of rapid response teams Support patients undergoing pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post EP lab procedures for pacemaker or ICD placement, and Tikosyn loading First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted within that radius RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no requests accepted after submission American Traveler Job ID P-748789.
