Details Inpatient rehabilitation unit specializing in Med/Surg Tele care Patient population includes CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility Cares for post-stroke, post-aneurysm, and post-op surgical rehab patients Patient ratio of 1:6 Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Works every 3rd weekend with holiday coverage as needed Float required between all Cone Health campuses as needed Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required EPIC EMR experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG testing Experience with interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and patient health history documentation Proficient in vital sign monitoring, dressing changes, and sterile procedure setup Experience with specimen collection including capillary, throat, and urine samples, and phlebotomy Acute care rehab and teaching hospital experience preferred Trauma Level II experience preferred Additional Information Provides specialized rehabilitative nursing care for patients with neurological and post-surgical conditions Performs telephone triage and manages pharmacy refill requests Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed No first-time travelers accepted for this role Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility with no local rate applied RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO accepted American Traveler Job ID P-750039.
