Laboratory Manager job opportunity near Bakersfield, California (rural area)

• Responsible for coordinating and supervising all functions of the Clinical Laboratory.
\n
• This includes staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting that promotes cost containment, maintaining PAR and relating with various department physicians and administration of the District.
\n
• Responsible for recognizing results or problems that requires referral to the Pathologist.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry.
\n
• California licensure as a Medical Technologist or one of the following specialties: Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Serology, or Microbiology.
\n
• ASCP Certification preferred.
\n
• Experience in a rural hospital environment.
\n
• Bench work required. 
\n

Pay Range: 

\n
• 141,440 - $203,674/Annual
\n
