Experienced LVNs are needed for a government contract opportunity supporting a specialized state-operated residential healthcare facility in Denton, Texas.


Conveniently located within the Dallas-Fort Worth / North Texas region, this opportunity combines a structured clinical environment with meaningful direct-care work supporting individuals who require ongoing medical and behavioral healthcare services.

This specialized state-supported residential healthcare facility provides long-term care, treatment, and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and/or behavioral health needs. The environment is highly structured and regulated, with a strong focus on resident safety, continuity of care, dignity, and overall well-being.


Position Summary:


The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, provide medication education, complete required documentation, and support daily patient-care needs.


Schedule:

• 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday-Saturday scheduling
• Alternating shifts based on staffing needs

Minimum Requirements:

• Current and valid LVN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Compliance with applicable HHSC immunization requirements
• Ability to pass required drug screening
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting
• Ability to complete required facility and HHSC training
• All compliance and clearance requirements must be completed before starting
