Senior Cost Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $95,000 to $100,000 per year.

• Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor and report on budget performance and cost trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support cost analysis.
• Prepare and present cost reports to management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency.
• Analyze inventory costs and recommend optimization strategies.
• Support project costing and financial analysis for new initiatives.
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual costs to budgeted costs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and cost accounting standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost analysis, and financial analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and accounting software (Oracle or ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate cost-related information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effectively work in a team environment.
