Senior Cost Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $95,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and report on budget performance and cost trends.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support cost analysis.
- Prepare and present cost reports to management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency.
- Analyze inventory costs and recommend optimization strategies.
- Support project costing and financial analysis for new initiatives.
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual costs to budgeted costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and cost accounting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cost analysis, and financial analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and accounting software (Oracle or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate cost-related information to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effectively work in a team environment.
