Overview Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO‑Biz) is hiring an Energy Unit Analyst (ANALYST II) under the classification present in database code JC‑519848. The position offers a monthly salary of $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 and is open until the vacancy is filled. Responsibilities Receive direction from the Assistant Deputy Director/Manager and the Deputy Director of the Energy and Climate unit. Perform support and analysis for in‑progress clean energy projects across the state. Track additional data and relevant information for energy infrastructure projects to help the state meet climate and sustainability goals. Minimum Requirements Category: Analyst II – salary $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification. Pass the Analyst II exam unless eligible for lateral transfer or reinstatement. Provide school transcripts; diplomas are not accepted. Complete the State Employment Application (STD 678) including the Employment History section; a resume is required. Submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) as specified in the job bulletin. Work Conditions Hybrid telework schedule with requirement to report to the senior office in Sacramento at least four times a week, effective July 1, 2026.
