What we look for:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure, or eligibility to obtain in the state
• Experience working within K-12 settings or with student populations
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Commitment to student advocacy and inclusive practices
• Openness to working closely with school staff, administration, and families

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for support
• Interpret assessment data and collaborate in the development of IEPs or behavioral intervention plans
• Offer individual or group counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Consult with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ academic and emotional needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and provide recommendations to enhance student success
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
