Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
- Monitor vital signs, manage airway and hemodynamic status, and respond to clinical changes
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; assess for adverse effects
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Ensure adherence to unit standards, safety protocols, infection control, and quality guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to coordinate care

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
- ICU/nursing experience in a high-acuity setting; 1+ year preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule (3x12) and adapt to travel assignment requirements
- Graduation from an approved RN education program
- Willingness to travel to the assignment location for a 13-week engagement starting 10/12/2026
