Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

SCHEDULE:
- Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification within six months of hire
- At least two years of documented ICU experience or completion of an approved ICU training course

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely, in accordance with the unit's standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing systems and maintain effective work habits and clinical practices.
- Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Employees must comply with all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations as required by the job and department.
- Adventist Health requires all associates to be vaccinated as a condition of employment, with possible medical and religious exemptions.
