Role Overview

As a Seasonal Sales Advisor, you will be a key member of the South Coast Plaza Team during one of our busiest periods of the year. This is a sales-focused, flexible role where you will deliver exceptional client experiences while supporting the broader needs of the boutique.

In addition to driving sales and clienteling, you will contribute to inventory, replenishment, stock organization, merchandising, cash handling, opening/closing, and other store operations as needed.

This seasonal position offers potential for conversion to a permanent based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Experience

• Welcome and engage clients, providing personalized and elevated service throughout their visit.

• Build strong product knowledge across Polène’s leather goods and jewelry collections.

• Drive sales by understanding client needs and providing thoughtful product recommendations.

• Build lasting client relationships through clienteling and personalized follow-up.

• Represent Polène’s brand, service, and craftsmanship standards at every interaction.

Boutique Operations

• Support receiving, inventory counts, stock organization, transfers, and replenishment.

• Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure merchandise and supplies are available on the sales floor.

• Support merchandising and overall boutique presentation.

• Process transactions accurately and support cash management procedures.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily store operations.

• Flex between front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities based on business needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in luxury, premium retail, fashion, hospitality, beauty, or another high-service environment.

• Strong sales and customer service skills with a genuine interest in luxury and craftsmanship.

• Comfortable working across both sales and store operations.

• Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

• Confident engaging with local and international clientele.

• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and peak holiday periods.

• Ability to commit through the holiday season.

Compensation & Benefits

• $23–$25/hour, plus bonus incentive.
