Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to routine concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions to support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
