As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities. Minimum Requirements: Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be comfortable working in/around a hospital morgue. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals as needed. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
