Project Manager – Transportation Infrastructure (Civil Engineering)

Oxford Solutions is partnering with a civil engineering consulting firm to hire a Project Manager (Transportation Infrastructure) for a direct hire opportunity. This is a leadership role for an experienced civil engineer who thrives on delivering roadway and transportation improvement projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation engineering projects including roadway, highway, traffic, and related infrastructure improvements
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and staffing to ensure successful delivery
• Oversee QA/QC processes and conduct technical reviews of plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Coordinate with internal design teams, subconsultants, and public agencies to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations
• Support proposal development and contribute to business development initiatives
• Guide and mentor engineers and technical staff, promoting collaboration and accountability
• Ensure compliance with applicable DOT standards and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• 7+ years of transportation design and project management experience
• Experience managing roadway, highway, traffic, or related transportation projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
• Working knowledge of state DOT standards (PennDOT and/or NYSDOT experience preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Office; MicroStation experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to project pursuits
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
