Desktop Support Technician

We're partnering with a well-known retail organization that is experiencing exciting growth and looking to add an IT Support Specialist to its team. What You'll Do Provide help desk support for Microsoft 365, Windows 11, hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple locations, both remotely and onsite. Support POS systems, tablets, printers, kiosks, cameras, and other operational technology. Document issues thoroughly and work with vendors and service providers to drive resolution. Perform basic networking troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and connectivity issues. What We're Looking For 3 years of IT Support, Desktop Support, Help Desk, or Field Service experience in a multi-site environment. Strong troubleshooting experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, desktops, laptops, printers, and end-user support. Hands-on experience supporting POS systems, kiosks, receipt printers, tablets, barcode scanners, cameras, or related operational technology . POS support experience is highly preferred. Comfortable traveling to locations to diagnose and resolve onsite technology issues, including connectivity, hardware, and operational system outages. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including WiFi, DNS, DHCP, IP configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting. Experience working with vendors, ISPs, and ticketing systems, with a strong focus on documentation and issue resolution. Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with end users, and remain calm under pressure. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed. This is not a traditional desk-only help desk role. Success in this position requires a mix of desktop support, field service, and hands-on troubleshooting of POS and operational technology across multiple locations.
