What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab analyses across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, while diligently adhering to established protocols.
• Critically assess test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as needed, ensuring every detail is addressed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Foster a neat, safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within a year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout employment is required.
