Job Title: High Risk- Assembler - 1st Shift

Location: 9831 W Tangerine Rd Marana, AZ 85653

Duration: Contract - 12 months

Pay Range: $18.08/hr (W2)

1st shift position (6:00AM to 2:30PM, M-F)

Candidates must be willing to work 5-10 hours of OT/ week as needed.

Candidates must also be willing to work 2 Saturdays/month if production demands require it.

• -Experience with automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment.

Job description:

• Executes the process of assembly of instruments
• Performs basic transactions within highly complex systems and controls in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. build product, SAPtransactions/confirmations)[wbr].
• Participates in the execution of protocol/validations.
• Contributes to daily end of shift reports and pass downs.
• Maintains Right to Operate and ensures that all processes are performed in a safe and healthy manner; Addresses and escalates any potentially unsafe hazards; Provides feedback during investigation of safetyhazards, incidents and near misses using safety reporting tools.
• Performs tasks/transactions in the quality system to ensure we achieve our quality objectives.
• Understands the expectations of audit readiness (OSHA, FDA, QSR, GMP, ISO, etc.); may be required to answer questions about processes on the spot.
• Provides feedback on NCR investigations, reworks, and corrective actions.
• Adheres to 95% or above internal training compliance
• Performs 6S activities, gathers/meets cycle times and develops/follows standard work; identifies and implements process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean tools.
• Participates and contributes in team meetings.
• May participate in the collection of data for daily metrics purposes and to support operational excellence initiatives and improvements.
• Proactively collaborates with peers in other shifts/functions to ensure daily targets are achieved.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skill or Ability Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement. 

• Experience with Google products (gMail, gSheets, gDoc, etc). 
• Experience with SAP. 
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English. 
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to be agile and accurate in a high-volume environment. 
• Strong organizational skills, planning skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication skills - written, verbal. 
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.

• Stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend, crouch for a combined 4 or more hours per day.

• Have good near visual acuity to perform activities throughout the processes in the assigned area.
• Able to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and machinery; towork from lifts and ladders; to manipulate heavy equipment, tools and supplies; to concurrently manipulate multiple controls and machinery; and to wear and work inpersonnel protective equipment.
• This is an essential position supporting the organizational goals requiring attendance on weekends, holidays and during emergency or exceptional conditions.

Education :
-Highschool diploma or GED
-Associates degree is preferred but not required
