Sales Engineer

Reports To: VP of Sales & Business Development Position Type: Full-Time | Salary + Performance Incentives Position Summary The Sales Engineer will drive revenue and profitability across the Northwest U.S. territory by maintaining existing customer relationships, acquiring new clients, and delivering cooling tower services, repairs, upgrades, and parts solutions. This role combines technical sales, estimating, customer relationship management, and regional project coordination. Key Responsibilities Develop new business and expand existing customer relationships within the assigned territory. Conduct customer meetings and site inspections to assess cooling tower conditions, repairs, upgrades, and parts requirements. Prepare estimates, proposals, project scopes, and customer presentations. Support project management, job execution, scheduling, and crew assignments. Perform field inspections, condition assessments, and site-specific safety evaluations. Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and solutions to customers. Coordinate with construction, engineering, safety, quality, accounting, and design teams. Resolve customer issues and provide technical support and troubleshooting. Maintain job documentation, expense reports, and administrative records using Microsoft Office, TopBuilder, and Viewpoint. Represent the company at customer meetings, training sessions, and trade shows. Ideal Candidates Engineering degree OR 10+ years of cooling tower experience. Minimum 5 years of cooling tower sales experience . Experience in prospecting, estimating, quoting, sales generation, account management, and P&L responsibilities.
