Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, including budget-to-actual variance analysis Build and maintain dashboards providing leadership with real-time visibility into financial performance Build and maintain financial models and forecasts for planning and decision-making Lead expense optimization analysis by tracking spend, flagging variances, and identifying cost-discipline opportunities Prepare reporting and analysis materials for the Controller and CEO, including board-level materials as needed Use AI tools to accelerate reporting, forecasting, and analysis Identify opportunities for finance-process automation Connect financial performance to operational activity across the business Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects Report to the Controller Requirements Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Experience building dashboards or reporting automation Prior experience using AI tools for analysis, reporting, or workflow automation Ability to prompt and iterate with AI tools for reports, models, and analysis Sharp critical thinking and systems thinking mindset Clear, direct communication and ability to present analysis to executives 2-3 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field Prior experience in a high-growth or startup environment Experience with expense management or cost optimization initiatives Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial reporting, modeling, and analysis, with a strong focus on leveraging AI tools for automation and optimization.
