Baker (Overnight/3rd Shift)Join our Festival Foods team as a Baker! This position reports to the Bakery Department Manager.Are you passionate about baking, pastry and providing exceptional food service quality? We are seeking a Baker to join our team! Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.What You'll Do:As a Baker at Festival Foods, you will:Recipe & Production Control: Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items. Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage.Health & Safety: Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage.Guest Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests by assisting them with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns. Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction.Stock Monitoring: Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production-level, especially for early mornings and evenings.Quality Standards: Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.Team Collaboration: Work closely with all Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment.Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absencesSupport the Team: Other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Full range of upper body motion. Lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis (50% of the time). Frequent repetitive motion of hands and wrists.Work Environment: Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20% of the time). Frequently near moving machinery (70% of the time).Schedule: The Baker is a position with a work schedule that includes early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
